Are you ready to begin the police application process?

You have decided to be a police officer or a sheriff’s deputy, now what? Before filling out an application, you may want to ask yourself if you meet the minimum requirements needed to be a peace officer. Most police agencies require applicants to meet a minimum age requirement of 21 years of age. Other standard requirements may include some college education, a current drivers license, United States citizenship and more.

You can find this information in a job announcement for open police employment opportunities often found on an agencies website or the agencies human resources web page.
